The prime insulation material is 25m thick Needle Felt ceramic fibre or wool. An inner layer of stainless steel wire mesh keeps the insulation in place surrounded by an outer layer of very tough silicone or teflon coated fiberglass. This outer layer repels oil spills and provides  along lasting and easy to clean outercover.We do have patterns on file for popular engines and can custom make blankets as required.
